The chakras are energy centers in the subtle body that correspond to various physical, mental, emotional and spiritual characteristics.

Does that sound like some crazy, new age hippy nonsense to you? Initially, it did to me but since I am jive with that kind of thing, I researched more and found how accurately the description of unbalanced chakras were corresponding to issues I was having with my physical and mental well-being.

I began working my way through the chakras and applying a personal mantra based on the struggles I was facing in each one. You can read through that exploration below.
