Hi friends! I am back in the states and safely home with my pups after about a month of on and off travel. I have to say I have had a pretty tough time adjusting back. I am truly missing China and Japan and longingly watching episodes of Anthony Bourdain’s Parts Unknown, dreaming of where to travel next.

I am slowly starting to get back into a routine; my morning tea/meditation/journaling time, workouts at the gym and daily yoga practice. I have been sorting through pictures from my trips and foisting them on my family and friends who have the patience and politeness to sit through my slideshows.

I have to say that each time I travel abroad, it gets harder and harder to come back. I am always happy to see my pups,  family & friends and eat Mexican food again, but my heart truly longs for the opportunity to learn a new land, language, customs and history. Sigh. One day, when the time is right, I know I will make the move abroad. Until then, I have more trips planned and more pictures to share.

I will start working on recapping some of my favorite moments and impressions from the trip. Until then, I leave you with a few of my favorite pictures:
